F.A.Q

What is your photographic style?

One of my first clients called me the ‘spying paparazzi’. She told me she barely even noticed I was there but also loved the way I took control when the timing was right without being too obtrusive. It is important as a wedding photographer to provide direction when needed but if I feel my client is not comfortable or does not look natural/themselves in a photograph then I wouldn’t take the photograph until they are completely relaxed again. Weddings are happy events, it is important not only to capture the bride and groom but also the loved ones that are there for your special day. Your wedding day shows your true personality down to all the little details, so it is vital to capture your persona so you look completely yourselves in the photos. I believe this is my true style, making you feel you.

How many weddings do you photograph a year?

I only take on up to 20 weddings a season. My focus is always achieving quality over quantity for each client and to do that it is important to be 100% focused on every wedding day. It is not about the amount of images you get but about the images that you remember. Each year varies with popular dates so be sure to contact me with your chosen wedding date.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely, I love travelling for a wedding. Perth Metro areas do not attract any fees. If you are tying the knot in the South West or other areas within WA contact me for a travel quote. Prices range depending on the distance travelled and time required on the wedding day.

What is the deposit and payment policy for weddings?

Once you are happy to go ahead with booking my services I require a $950 deposit to secure your wedding date. The payment is applied to your chosen collection, with the balance due 2-3 weeks prior to your wedding on our final face to face meeting. We accept payment by cash, direct deposit or PayPal.

How long does it take to see our wedding photos?

A Sneak Peek goes up on my Fego Photography Facebook page within a week from your wedding date. Your USB of wedding images is ready approximately 5-6 weeks after your wedding. Once your favourite wedding images have been chosen for your album and the design has been approved, the album production takes 8-10 weeks to be made depending on the customised specs of the album.

Do you edit the photos?

I photograph in high resolution raw format on my Canon cameras. Raw format allows me in post-production to colour correct an image with accurate skin tones and exposures. In post-production I raw convert your images using Adobe software to Jpegs then perfect your chosen images for your wedding album in Adobe Photoshop. Extra retouching and custom requests are quoted.
